IP-ST // CAD Studio v0.5
IP-ST CAD Studio v0.5
Move the design state, not the model and not the video stream.
Industrial CAD assemblies can be massive. IP-ST CAD Studio v0.5 demonstrates a different collaboration model: the heavy assembly remains local, the model is verified by hash, and only the actual design-state change is transmitted.
This demo is not a CAD replacement. It is an industrial state-change proof.
VDI streams pixels. File sharing moves the model. IP-ST moves the verified state change.

Procedural mockup of an industrial HVAC pipe rack. A highlighted DN200 HVAC pipe moves 15 cm left to avoid structural beam A17. The assembly remains local — only the state-change event is transmitted.

Asset transferred?
No — asset_not_transferred: true
The heavy industrial assembly is assumed to exist locally and is verified by hash.
The full industrial model is not transferred in this demo. The local asset is referenced and verified by hash.

Only this design-state change is transmitted. No full model transfer. No video stream.
Before / after pipe movement
Before
DN200 HVAC pipe at x = 4.25 m
⚠ clash_risk
The pipe is too close to structural beam A17, creating a clash risk. Minimum clearance of 0.1 m is not met.
After
DN200 HVAC pipe at x = 4.10 m (−15 cm)
✓ clear
The pipe has been moved 15 cm to the left. Clearance to beam A17 is now verified. Only the position delta was transmitted.

These values are illustrative estimates for the demo scenario. The principle is that IP-ST transfers the verified state change, not the full assembly and not a rendered video stream.

Validation reuses the same principles as IP-ST Studio: only public-safe state data is included — no secrets, media frames, or private endpoints. The package is validated before download.
Why this matters for data centers
Heavy industrial collaboration often moves large files or streams rendered pixels from remote machines. Both approaches can consume bandwidth, storage, GPU time and data center energy.
IP-ST CAD Studio v0.5 demonstrates a different model: keep the heavy assembly local and synchronized by hash, then transmit only verified asynchronous state changes. In this demo, a 15 cm HVAC pipe movement is represented as a tiny event packet instead of a new model transfer or video stream.
CAD files move geometry.
VDI moves pixels.
IP-ST moves state.
