The system does not care about the meaning of words. It analyzes only the event-based state generated by the voice signal.

Each frequency band is an indexed address. Events fire per-band, not per-frame.

High-resolution timestamps captured when state actually changes — not on a fixed clock tick.

The signed energy delta between consecutive samples. Only the change is transmitted.

Error Protection
A parity bit over the event payload, giving lightweight integrity without a codec overhead.
State Buffer
Receives events and maintains the current state per address: state[id] = { timestamp, value }. No audio buffer is retained.
Trajectory Matching
A voice phrase becomes an ordered trajectory of IDs, delta-times and state changes. Unlock is granted when the generated trajectory falls within the accepted tolerance corridor of the stored reference trajectory.
File-less Architecture
Demonstrates file-less state processing between capture and reconstruction. No voice recording is stored — only state representations are retained.
State-Centric Computing

Traditional computing stores files. IP-ST stores and compares states. Files are temporary views of state. Voice Lock Studio demonstrates how information can be represented as event-based state trajectories rather than recordings or traditional password systems.

Voice Lock Studio is the first public demonstration of CEng state processing. The demo shows how voice can be transformed into event-based state representations that are stored, compared, and restored without retaining audio recordings.

How Voice Lock Studio Works

State, not words.

Step 1

Step 2

Speak Naturally

Say anything you like — a word, a sentence, or a longer phrase. The content is not important.

Step 3

Watch IP-ST Events Form

Your voice is converted into event-based state information: [ID, T, S, P]. The system builds a trajectory representing the generated voice state.

Step 4

Download Your .lock File

The encrypted state container is downloaded to your device. No audio recording is stored.

Step 5

Unlock Later

Upload the .lock file and speak again. The system generates a new state trajectory and compares it with the stored reference trajectory.

Step 6

State Match

If the generated trajectory falls within the accepted tolerance corridor, the lock is opened and the original file is restored.

Why This Demo Exists

Voice Lock Studio is not intended to be a traditional password manager or speech recognition system. It demonstrates the IP-ST and CEng concepts of:
